Doubt "gave birth" and "were born"

Is this sentence correct?
She gave birth two kids and they were born three days ago.

You don't need the words "and they were born." The simpler sentence is better: "She gave birth to twins three days ago."

Yes, great usage! Just add 'to' after birth (she gave birth to two kids). It sounds a little funny but it is correct. :)

That's correct, but I believe that there is no need for the words ''and they were born'' in this case. You could just say: ''She gave birth to two kids three days ago.'' It sounds much better this way.
