Yes! They are terms probably used by older people. The term "on the rag" is not heard very often. It is more common to say, "having her period". "Rain ticket" is usually replaced with "rain check", at least in Canada. "Skid row" might be replaced with "slums". "Squeegies" are used to clean your windshield. The term is very common! "Roll call" is used, but often replaced by the expression "taking attendance". "Bleachers" is the name given for seats in "the stands" at baseball fields. It is very commonly heard. "Pink slip" is definitely used as a euphemism for losing your job without much prior notice. The word "coasting" is also used by people on bicycles when they roll downhill. "Crabs" is the only term that I have not heard used, except in books. Hope this helps

They are all still understandable, though some are less common. on the rag-- oh gosh, I haven't heard that since I was a teenager. It is a touch crass, but I think it is still used. rain ticket-- yes, or rain check. Another I don't hear as often but we all understand it. "I'll take a rain check on that." The actual practice of a "rain check" when a store does not have the product you want is no longer common, but it was when I was a child. squeegies- YES! A noun (for the tool used to remove water from glass surfaces) or a verb (the action of using that tool). call roll- Yes! or "take roll" and the action itself is a roll call. Thank you for not using the common misspelling: "role." which is another word entirely. skid row- Yup. Used for being in poverty, very bad circumstances. pink slip (when you are fired)- I think so. Again, its recognized easily enough. I just don't know anyone who has been fired lately. to coast (a car)- yes. Also used to "coast through life." You don't need a car to coast. crabs (for lice)- not really. At least not in the US. bleachers (in a stadium)- Yes. Absolutely. Athletic reporting is even called the "Bleacher report." in some places. All the best, Tara
