Foam, lather or froth?
Hi, good morning. I'm a native Spanish speaker. In Spanish we have the word "espuma" that apparently can be translated to English as "foam, lather or froth" depending on the context.
Can anybody tell me in which cases do we use each one and give me some examples?
The one that you make with soap when you wash your hands or take a bath, which is it? and the one that is formed on top of sea waves? Please tell me, thank you!

You get lather from soap.
Foam is used to talk about sea waves but is also used to talk about the top of a beverage. Coffee or beer can have foam on top. Both of these are often called a head of foam. Froth is often used like foam. Both can top coffee or beer.
