So relatable
When I need to use this expression "so relatable"? If something has happened to someone that also happened to me, can I also say it then?

A: I really hate summer this year. It's so hot and uncomfortable.
B: That's so relatable! I know exactly what you mean.
Another way to use "relatable' is:
"I can relate".
So yes, relate is often used to agree on a shared or similar experience.

Hi! Most of the time, people use the phrase ‘so relatable’ in informal situations when they can connect with something that someone else is going through—most the the time, it’s used when you’ve gone through the same thing yourself, but a lot of people also use it when they just understand what the person’s going through.
Hope that helps, if have any more questions, or would like to work on English with me in the future, feel free to click on my profile and book a lesson with me!
