I would say there is no exact translation, the closest are:
расслабленный (of a state, mood) - relaxed (literally: loosened - as if being a tie)
расслабляющий (music) - relaxing
непринуждённый (of a person, conversation, situation, style, clothing) - free, at ease (literally: not forced)
спокойный (about anything) - calm
There is also a slang word "ненапряжный" which seems to be the equivalent of "laid-back".

There is some slang expression for such kind of a person: "он/она по жизни не напрягается". It has a slightly negative meaning.
- Как у твоего брата дела?
- Уволился, уехал в Индию, стучит на барабанах, медитирует.
- А как же жена и дети?
- Остались здесь, родители им деньги дают.
- Он там не работает?
- Иногда делает массаж. Так... на жилье, на еду, больше ему не надо.
- Хорошо ему...
- Да вообще по жизни парень не напрягается.
