1. i would pay for my own meal but i am too hot to pay my own bills.

Here's my attempt:

I don't know exactly if you want to recompose the sentence with the
identical number of words but i find it intriguing. I'll do my best.
1 I wish I had paid for half of the meal, but I didn’t.
- I didn't pay for the meal, although I wish I had paid for half of the
bill.
2 It was wrong of Mandy to tell Steve about us.
- Mandy did wrong and told Steve about us.
3 Perhaps Anita didn’t get the text message.
- Anita possibly, did not get the text message.
Recomposing a sentence, in most cases, does affect the contextual comprehension.
