Pronominal Verbs could be with Dativ or Akkusativ.
Example:
Ich wasche mich ( I clean myself) ( Dativ)
Ich wasche mir die Haende ( Akkusativ)

ehhhh, perdoname, que no te respondí! ;)
Yes, there are. And as in Spanish, there are different types of pronominal verbs.
Some verbs have to be used reflexive to work:
- freuen (to be glad) - Ich freue mich
- beeilen (to hurry) - Ich beeile mich
- verirren (to get los) - Ich habe mich verirrt
- schämen (to blush) - Ich schäme mich so sehr
and many more...
some verbs can be used reflexive or direct.
of those, some verbs can stay the same meaning when used reflexive or normal:
- waschen
- Ich wasche mich (I have a wash - wash myself) (reflexive)
- Ich wasche [etwas] (I wash [something])
some verbs change their meaning, when used reflexive or not:
- ausziehen
- Ich ziehe mich aus (I undress) (reflexive)
- Ich ziehe aus [, aus meinem Haus] (I move out [from my house])
- ärgern
- Ich ärgere mich [über etwas] (I am annoyed [with something]) (reflexive)
- Ich ärgere [jemanden] (I tease [someone])
The reflexive pronouns to use are:
- ich: mich
- du: dich
- er/sie/es: sich
- wir: uns
- ihr: euch
- sie/Sie: sich
Those verbs normally are referred to as:
"sich + infinitive" to show, that they are reflexive:
- sich freuen
- sich schämen
- etc...
Cuidate, nos vemos,
Daniel
