Hello Lenka, A smile , a normal one is characterized by turning up the corners of the mouth; usually to show pleasure or amusement. A broken smile on the other hand is a less natural smile lacking spontaneity. It is more of a forced smile,when one smiles, because the situation asks for it, not because he/she really feels like doing it !
