Is there in Chinese a pure definite article like English « the » ?
Chinese "zhè" and "nà" are usually translated as "this" and "that". Is there in Chinese a "pure definite article" like Modern English "the", Spanish "el, la", French "le", "la", etc?
Thank you!

Hello Luis,
I am not sure, but I think using 'zhe' means 'the 'as well in Chinese:
这个
Zhe ge nanren
The man
Zhege nanren
This man
一个
Indefinitely you can use 'yi' ,which means 'a' in English.
Yi ge nanren
A man
I appreciate corrections and explanations from native Chinese speakers.
