In an affirmative statement (not question), use some. "She has some money." "She has some pens." (You can't use 'any' in these.) In a negative statement, use any. "She doesn't have any money." "She doesn't have any pens." In questions, use "any" or "some". "Do you have some money?" "Do you have any money?" There are some other small differences, but this is the most important.

"Some" se puede usar en muchas maneras ... "I want some of your water/Yo quiero un poco de tu agua", "Hay unos personas que nunca reciclar/There are some people who never recyle", etc. "Any" se puede trasladarlo al adjetivo "cualquier", por ejemplo: "You can have any bread you want/Puedes tener cualquier pan que quieras". Támbien, se usa "any" en frases como "You can´t have any bread!/No puedes tener nada del pan!" Espero que te ayudara pero mi español es asi asi.
