Don't get confused Ida is the same as travel, but only from the place you are to the next place.Example. Como les fue en la ida a Europa? Venida is the opossite of ida venida is when you come back.Como les fue en la venida de Europa? In other words Ida is the travel from your home to Europe and Venida is the travel from Europe to your home. Ir is the same as Go to. Voy a ir a Europe, I will go to Europe.

hello, ida is used for instance when you are talking about a round trip (A trip from one place to another and back) so in spanish you say: viaje ida y vuelta, ida is a noun and vuelta is also a noun
