おいしい(美味しい) is -い adjective (I think that's the way it's called). It changes its form like this,
おいしい (present, affirmative) → おいしくない (present, negative)
おいしかった (past, affirmative) → おいしくなかった (past, negative)
きれい, on the other hand, is -な adjective.
きれい (present, affirmative) → きれいでは(or じゃ)ない (present, negative)
きれいだった (past, affirmative) → きれいでは(or じゃ)なかった (past, negative)
other -い adjectives
楽しい (fun), 嬉しい (glad, happy), 忙しい (busy), 面白い (interesting), 汚い (dirty), 大きい (big), 小さい (small), 厚い (thick), 長い (long), 美しい (beautiful), 遠い (distant, far) など
other -な adjectives
静かな (silent), 有名な (famous), 複雑な (complicated), 幸せな (happy), 元気な (energetic), 楽な (easy), 特別な (special), 愉快な (amusing), 大切な (important, precious), 便利な (convenient), 素敵な (wonderful, lovely) など

Just as addendum...
All i-adjectives end with い as you can see.
But there are some na-adjectives that accidentally have い before な。
きれいな、きらいな、しつれいな、ゆうめいな、ていねいな etc.
These are all na-adjectives even though they have い.
