hi there
this excruciating question is driving me crazy,
what doses this context mean??
For many, the to-do list, whether written or mental, now suffers from a sort of infinite scroll: Reaching the end of it can be unimaginable.
here the verb suffer from does not make sense if we say experience pain or problem.
appreciate it.
thanks your reading and answering

It's a good question, and your understanding of the sentence is correct. This does make sense in English, because things can experience problems. For example "The train was late as it suffered a breakdown."
In this case it's a concept (the to-do-list) which is experiencing problems. I can understand it might seem a bit strange for other cultures, but it's a typical way of thinking and expressing this idea in English.
