The St. Alexander Monastery
Suzdal is my favorite town in Russia. There is a pleasant place there, it is the St. Alexander Monastery. It is named after the Great Duke Alexander Nevsky, who founded this monastery in 1240. It was customery to bury the Suzdal princesses here. The life of the St. Alexander Monastery resumed only in 2006, now it is a man's cloister.
