Report about smartphones This is a report about mobile phones I have to do for my English class. I'm not sure if it's a correct report or maybe it seems more like an article :( This report describes the choices for a person who want to buy a new smartphone. Choosing the correct size The choice of the screen size must be done depending of the use. Normaly mobiles with big screen size are better for users who want a smartphone to surfing in the internet. However a big size is not always an advantatge because it increments the battery waste, and besides the mobile phone becomes more uncomfortable due to the increment of the size and weight. iPhone Android, or Windows Phone which is the best choice One of the advantages of iPhone is the fact it have a specific hardware designs for its Operation System, and as a consequence, the performance increase significantly. On the other hand, Android have become very popular in the lasts years due to the varioty of prices and the number of free aplications. In the last place, Windows Phone have arrived the last but it have the support of Nokia what it's a fact of quality. Price, how much can I afford? Clearly, one of the facts determinant for choosing a smartphone is the price. The price will determine the features of the mobile phone, the quality of the camera, the display or the processor. However, the price affects the giving use or the choice of the brand, iPhone, Android or Windows Phone definitely affect the device price. In conclusion, iPhone is for people who want a good device without caring about the price. Android give a large quantity of choices due to the difference prices and features. Finally, Windows Phone due to its relation with Nokia it is a synonym of quality, although the less number of application offered.

Practicing to do TOEFL Hi everybody, I am studying to apply for TOEFL nowadays. I have been study for this exam for 1 month or so. I bought some books to be able to success on exam, for example, now I'm reading Cracking TOEFL iBT the 2009 version. Can you people recommend me books for that? Tell me what books helped you to success on it! Thanks :)

My daily routine At this moment I'm not working so that I spend my day studying English and going out with friends or alone for a walk on evenings. Sometimes is boring but since I want to do TOEFL exam on this summer I have to focus on improving my English as much as I can. I have recently got a book for practicing TOEFL, its name is Cracking TOEFL iBT 2009. I hope it will help me to get types for the day of my exam!

A formal letter I have to write for homeworks I have to write a formal letter about the bad service I recieved in a hotel. Here is it: Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the serive I recived in the Han hotel of Murcia last week. It was my first time I came to this hotel, but I had good recommendations from it and besides it has four stars. My disappointment started the first day I came to the hotel. The room that I reserved was not appropriately ready because the bed has only a thin blanket without any duvet. On many occasions I called the room services, but they did not come until the next day so that I spent a terrible cold night because of that and the fact the heating was removed. Another thing I'm disappointed was the restaurant, because there were many people and it was ridiculously small so that we spent much time waiting in the queue. I have been in other hotels about the same quality and I never had so many inconvenients. So unless I recieve and explanation and apology for the unacceptable service I recieved I will not recomment that hotel to any of my friends. Yours faithfully.

My first entry in my diari! Hello, My name is Pablo I live in Spain. I decide to start writing about my experience learning english. I'm doing english class in my town 2 times a week at this moment. Tomorrow I have to do homeworks! I love to make homeworks because it helps me a lot on improving my english. I have to write a formal letter to a hotel that I went and I'm not very happy about the service, so I need to write what was my situation, why I'm complaning and my goal (I mean am apologize or refund my money for example). The vocabulary and expresions must to be formal so my teacher recommend us to do not use contractions or phrasel verbs and besides try to use words that come from latin. Well I hope that I success on that homework! and maybe later when I finish my composition I will post it here to see if it's possible that someone give me her/his point of view and some corrections.

Question about the use of "do" Hi, I am watching a lot of english TV shows with english subtitle nowadays and i have a question about something I saw when i was reading the subtitle. Sometimes they say something like that for example: I do realize that I hurt you Why do they use "do"? I mean it's not necesary right? You just can say "I realize that i hurt you" Thanks in advance!

Recommend me books to read in english Hi, I have heard that one of the best ways to learn vocabulary and improve your writing is reading books. I would like to get recommendations about what type of books I can read to improve my english. I have heard that books that focus too much on descriptions are not very good for newbie or the books that have a arcaic vocabulary like for example The hobbit or The lord of the rings.
