Is anyone having problems with New Italki? Hi all, just a quick question here for teachers and students. I am having two problems at the moment: 1. I can not confirm my new sessions request that students booked after the "update"; 2. I can not give feedback to finished sessions now; Another prbolem, well maybe not a problem but definitely a downfall is that in my time schedule, both booked time and unavailable time is Grey now! I like the old "red dash" method better.... Also, I can not see all my followers now on my home page... I've already contacted the support team, hopefully it will get fixed soon.

健康的饮食 我最近的饮食不是很规律。有时候不吃早饭，有时候不吃午饭，甚至有时候一天只吃一顿晚饭。 我今天早上吃了煮燕麦，中午吃了素咖喱和米饭，晚上吃了一点海鲜，没有吃主食。我现在觉得很恶心，因为很久没有一天吃三顿饭了，觉得很饱，很想吐。这让我很担心，因为很多厌食症就是这样开始的。我的厨房里有一个称，我每次吃东西前都会称一下，我觉得除了蔬菜以外，任何超过100克的食物所含的热量都是可怕的。尤其是大米和面，每次进食不能超过25克。 我觉得保持健康的饮食要注意以下几点： 1. 按时吃饭 2. 多吃蔬菜和水果 3. 少吃含脂肪多的食物（包括奶酪这类食品） 我决定从明天开始，要坚持吃三顿饭，而且要多吃蔬菜。下面的图片是我最喜欢的蔬菜！竹笋！！！

Valentine's Day I do not like Valentine's Day much. Because people always get ripped off on this day. Chocolates and roses are double, even triple the usual price. I think if hubby buys me a rose on any other day of the year, I would be more happy and more surprised, as he always buys me a rose on Valentine's Day. This is what he does. He tells me one day before the Valentine's Day: "I will give you a surprise, honey." The next day he shows up with his hand behind his back: "Surprise! Guess what I bought you?" I say: " I don't know sweetie, surprise me!" Then a rose rises up. What a good surprise! Another good surprise on Valentine's Day is we go to a Thai restaurant. "I will take you somewhere really nice, darling. You will like it", says he as usual. Then the car stops at a Thai restaurant. I tell him: "Wow, it IS a nice restaurant. I remember we came here last Valentine's Day!" I think we should treat every day like a Valentine's Day and vise versa!

St Kilda Festival I went to St Kilda Festival last Sunday. Melbourne has St Kilda Festival each year, and it lasts three weeks each time. It is a musical festival. During the festival, you can watch live band shows, get on high roller-coasters, taking pictures with celebrities, and buy lots of funny things that you wouldn't usually see in shops. And of course, it is a good excuse to get drunk too. I usually do not like crowds that much. As I have never been to this festival before, I made the effort to experience it. I have to say: OH MY GOD....I have never seen so many people in my life! I could hardly move my feet! I was like one little pin on a people-sea board, and stuck on it...I was actually scared that I might got stepped over, cuz I could not see anything or hear anything except sweaty shirts and screams. I could smell mariguana in the crowd too, which was an absolute disgrace. I asked my hubby to carry me on his shoulder so I could get rid of the smell, and see over. I did not enjoy the show that much, so I suggested we get out of the crowd and have some drink. It was around 5 pm we got into a bar, and peope were already nuts! One girl and one guy pulled me over and started dance with me. They were good dancers. And hubby joined us to dance together! Haha! He was so funny. He looked like a drunk hip-hop clown! Anyway, we headed home around 7 pm and had a quiet relaxing night after that. I will never go to St Kilda Festival again!

I WAS LATE FOR MY CLASS THIS MORNING! BAD TEACHER! My class was between 8:00 am- 9:30 am this morning, and I set my alarm last night at 7:00 am to wake up and get ready teaching. I had a good dream last night. There were two cute guys dancing and stripping (It was a bad dream but the dacing was GOOD.) Then I woke up smiling. The next thing jumped in my mind was Patrick, my student! I quickly had a look at my alarm clock. It was 9:30am!!! I said "S*T"... I leaped off my bed, rushed into the study room and turned on the computer. He was off-line. I am a bad teacher!

A Workout I went to gym today. I haven't been to gym for one month. I really miss a hard workout. So I walked my dog as a warm-up, and then headed to gym. My goal is to lose weight, and at the same time gain some muscle. I've learned that it is better to do weights first and cardio after, becasue afterburn effect is better this way. I did 3 sets of squats, 3 sets of cable rows, 3 sets of bicep/ tricep lifting and 3 sets of assisted chip-ups, all high reps with low weights. Then I did a brisk walk on treadmill for 30 mins. I have only got 17 days left, but I need to lose 10 kg. My goal weight is 45 kg. Who can help me?! ORZ.... Oh btw, I saw a big guy did 35 kg bicep lifting each arm. I can only do 20 kg on two legs! XD I like her abs--->

Hard Working Day!! I had a hard day today. I assembled one TV table, one hall table and one book case by myself. I enjoy assembling stuff, but I do not have an electrical screw driver. I had to do them manually. I did not count how many screws I put in, maybe about 150, and some of them are very long. Anyway, I left 8 screws for my hubby to finish up. They are the longest! :P I've decided to be cheeky tonight, and let my hubby to do the dishes. Because I can tell him I got a blister in my palm XD

Can I ask what is the difference betwwen ERODE and CORRODE? I went to China for a three-week holiday not long ago, and someone asked me a question "How come some buildings look so old outside but new inside?" I said "It is caused by acid rain. The surface of the buildings is corroded." Then he asked "Did you mean the paint is eroded?" I am a bit confused here. Can anyone explain the difference of these two words to me, like where should I use them? Thanks.
