Aika was very kind and patient. She also very helpfully provided notes during the lesson for vocabulary I struggled with. I was anxious before the lesson, but her calm teaching style put me at ease.

In our most recent lesson, Aika-sensei helped me practice ordering in restaurants and navigating how to communicate my partner's dietary restrictions clearly. She also helped with proofreading an allergy card I had created, which I really appreciate! I'm looking forward to my next lesson with Aika-sensei once I return from my trip to Japan!

Aika-san is one of the friendliest and most helpful instructors I've met. Her approach is very conversational, which is exactly what I wanted to focus on in my Japanese learning journey. She's incredibly patient as I'm struggling to remember words, and if I don't understand, she types out what she's saying (or what I'm trying to say) and explains it in clear and understandable terms.
