Hi! I'm Angel, a licensed English and Filipino (Tagalog) educator from the Philippines. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with 21 units completed in professional teacher education. My neutral accent in both languages and adaptable teaching methodology make me particularly effective in instructing beginner to intermediate learners, as well as those focusing on conversational fluency. I specialize in teaching teenagers and adults, creating a supportive learning environment, and making sure that my teaching approach is student-centered. As an Italki tutor, I continue to explore languages through books, films, articles, and free conversation with students from diverse backgrounds.

I am an enthusiastic, kind, and patient teacher. I will make you feel comfortable in my class, so you don't have to worry. I will not pressure you because I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. My goal here is to impart my knowledge about the English and Filipino languages without making you feel intimidated. I will ensure that you learn effectively during my class and remain motivated. For me, teaching is the most fulfilling passion because you may be the reason for your learner's future success.

In my class, we will discuss interesting topics in an easy, fun, and more comfortable way. I will be using self-introduction to start building rapport with my learner. My teaching style varies depending on my learners, and I'm willing to adjust to better suit their level and interests.

I never feel rushed, and I can ask as many questions as I need without feeling embarrassed. Because of her, I feel confident when speaking and writing in English. I highly recommend Angel as a language teacher! 👍 She is a positive and pleasant person to engage with, and our sessions are always filled with interesting conversations.
