A fun and outgoing English teacher with more than 20 years of experience. Hi, I'm Danny, a Chicago-born English teacher who's called Barcelona home for 17+ years. I have Masters degrees in Communication & Marketing and Secondary Education, and have been teaching teens at a Barcelona high school since 2013. Since 2015 I've also been a certified Cambridge examiner—so I know exactly what these exams are looking for! My approach is simple: the best way to learn is by speaking, especially about things that genuinely interest you. I tailor every class to your goals, whether that's acing Cambridge or TOEFL, nailing a job interview, or just building real confidence in English. Let's make it happen! When I moved to Barcelona I started teaching English at language schools teaching to all different ages and levels. After several years of teaching I decided to study a Masters in Communication and marketing. For this reason I feel that I am very qualified to help you with your Business English needs. Later, I decided to become a teacher at a high school here in Spain, so I studied a Masters in Teaching secondary school English. Since 2013 I’ve been teaching English to 15, 16, 17 and 18 year olds at a local high school in Mataró, a town near Barcelona. On top of that, for the past 6 years I have been a certified Cambridge examiner.
