Привет! My name is Nastia and let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a big aficionado of Linguistics and Public Diplomacy. I see teaching as a space between these two fields. On the one hand, I want to explore in depth the way people acquire languages and, on the other hand, I want to be an ambassador of Russian culture, to promote it through my language. I hope to be able to show Russia and Russians through my lens. With me, you would discover Russian literature, pop culture, history. Привет. Меня зовут Настя, и я твой будущий преподаватель по русскому языку. Совсем недавно я получила степень бакалавра по международным отношениям, а сейчас учусь в магистратуре по направлению "Перевод и переводоведение". К сожалению, я не из тех людей, кто может сказать, что всегда был заинтересован в языках. Это, если хотите, озарение пришло ко мне совсем недавно, но за этот период (меньше пяти лет) я успела обнаружить всю прелесть и очарование английского, испанского и французского языков. Однако, чем больше времени я посвящаю им, тем нежнее становится любовь к моему родному языку, к русскому. Since I'm studying Linguistics, I do bear in mind the concepts of second-language acquisition. I fully acknowledge the necessity of immersion. Hence, my lessons are build on it. In addition to this, we can't separate a language from the culture it which it's spoken. So, I use and create materials that would let you discover the country and language as they are or as I see them. Of course, there're different paths to discover sth. And in this terms, you're the one who decides. When drawing up a lesson plan, I take into account your goals, interests and expectations.
