I obtained my CELTA, (Certificate for English Language Teaching to Adults) issued by Cambridge English (the organisation that sets the IELTS exams in the UK) in 2014, at LAL School of English, Paignton, South Devon, UK. I am a task-orientated tutor and prefer not to waste time on off-topic conversation. In this respect, I am more suitable for committed students who want to progress and are prepared to study between lessons than to those who just want conversation practice with no concrete goal in mind. My teaching style is simple: I first find out what my student needs and then provide it. Although I teach grammar from beginner to advanced, my most popular lessons are formal lessons on different topics which include reading, listening and speaking with writing as homework. The writing is focused on the IELTS tasks. Reschedules and cancellations more than 24 hours in advance of lesson are always accepted. Reschedules and cancellations less than 24 hours in advance of lesson are never accepted. Missed lessons are paid for.

My initial lesson with Teacher Steven went exceedingly well. I managed to share a lot about myself; he exhibited great patience, promptly rectifying any linguistic inaccuracies. I am highly content with the annotations in the chat box, as well as the homework assigned. I am already anticipating our forthcoming lesson with eagerness.
