Nina Karazani

Nina always brings friendly and active energy to the classroom! Every lesson, she facilitates discussion in Italian while noting frequent grammar errors. She gives materials and exercises to patch up the grammar mistakes she notices. Also, as I grasp for words to express myself that I do not know, she sends me written vocabulary allowing me to learn new words that I would actually use in day-to-day conversation. I've enjoyed my lessons with Nina, with whom I've mostly started from scratch in Italian, and highly recommend her! Her lessons are attentive to your level, and adjust as you learn more.

I really recommend taking lessons with Nina. I just said to her today that I feel a lot more confident in speaking. I am not so nervous anymore and choose my words with more intention. She is great to talk to and an amazing teacher.

I really love Nina's teaching methods and her mindset to teach Italian which is not to make it boring. She really pays so much attention that the student doesn't get overwhelemed, in this way I feel like I want to attend the classes, I don't feel like I have to but I want it from heart thanks to her. She writes down in the chat whatever we say in real time so after the lecture I can go back and see all the content of the lesson, everything that was said by me and by her. She also sends a lot of exercises about the topic of the day, some of them we do together and some of them are homework. She also always encourages me to speak which makes me think and remember some words I know or learn how to say whatever I wanted to say and it is so good to gain confidence. Overall I really find her lessons fun and so useful.
