Sylvie is a very conscientious and well prepared teacher. She has a lot of study material that either she has made herself or shares. We discuss current topics based on videos or articles on the internet. Sylvie is very good at providing exercises tailored to mistakes I made to during the class and so give me the opportunity to practice the correct grammar or expression. I always enjoy our classes and look forward to the next one.

This teacher did not listen to anything I said about my goals, needs, or experience. I ended the lesson early because even when I specifically asked her if we could do a sample review of verb conjugations before an exercise, she refused. I showed her what I meant in the chat, and she again refused and just tried to insist I do the exercise without running through an example together. So rude. She also continued speaking rapidly after I had told her that I have not spoken French in several years and needed her to speak more slowly. She was not the least bit attentive to my needs and wishes as a student, and ignored me to the point of rudeness. I was very disappointed.
