Hello! I am James, I am from New York and have lived there my whole life. I love to travel around europe and go sight seeing. I like to run and go to the gym, but I also like netflix and hanging out at home. I am a bit of book worm and love novel experiences. In my spare time I am usually studying something online because I like to learn different things, I am a person with many passions, and my greatest passion is teaching English.
I am a thoroughly trained teacher with many certifications. I know how to help my students reach their goals and I have an organized and clear structure to help you.
I believe the student is the center of the classroom, not me. This means I will teach you the way you want to be taught. I am flexible in my approach and use a variety of resources and activity types. I do prefer the skills based approach which means I believe that practicing grammar is best done in simulated situations.
In addition, I also teach IELTS and pronunciation and am certified to teach both of these.
I am a well organized and structured teacher who is patient and dedicated. All my lessons are customized specifically for you and will help you use engish in the situations that you are most likely to use it.

120-hour TEFL - TEFL.org - 2022I had to take 6 months of classes. I studied all aspects of TEFL. I made many lesson plans and studied how to teach children and adults, as well as english grammar, and colloquial language. I am well prepared to be a professional teacher and have another 8 certifications as well. But the TEFL is the most appropriate to add. All other certificates are based on teaching english.

James is a great teacher. He listened carefully to my English goals and understood what I need. During the lesson, he helped me with my pronunciation and corrected my sentences in a clear and simple way. He also gave me useful materials and homework that match my goals, which was very helpful.
It was my first lesson with him, but I felt relaxed and enjoyed the class. I think it was a very meaningful and productive lesson.
I highly recommend him, and I’m looking forward to my next lesson!

James is exellent teacher for me.
I am not a fluent English speaker.
Therefore, I often make many mistakes in my speaking.
However, James always encourage me and try to improve my confidence.
He is also careful for fixing my wrong English speaking habits.
I really appreciate for his meaningful and glamorous tutoring.
Moreover, he always agrees with my opinion and says positive words such as absolutely, interesting, fantastic.
