I'm Alina, originally from Latvia but currently living in Gran Canaria. Russian is my native language, and I'm also a certified English teacher (TEFL). I studied Tourism Management at the University of Birmingham in England, where my passion for traveling began. Since then, I've lived in a few places, including Tenerife, Cyprus, and now Gran Canaria. If you're interested in learning Russian from scratch, I'm here to help! I wanted to become a teacher since my childhood. I always loved languages and cultural exchanges. About English Classes: I am focusing on speaking, grammar, job intreview preparation. Moreover, considering my work experience withing hospitality and tourism, I will be happy to help people who want to improve their language skills for work. I am a very customer - oriented person, with experience of providing a great guest experience, etc. I know how important is to understand cultural differences when speaking English. And more important, how to sound polite and professional. Russian Classes: Grammar & Speaking lessons. Fully flexible, depending on your needs.

I would love to hear from my students before the class so that I could prepare for the lesson and we can start working towards desired goals effectively and efficiently. My classes are flexible, can be adapted for your academic, work or business needs. I usually adapt "the direct method" of teaching, because it seems to me the most natural. I do involve students both into speaking and listening, using realistic daily situations. I love to teach languages without translating, like this students can learn HOW to use the language much faster. In case if any grammar rule has to be explained, can be done in Russian, English and Spanish. I also can include homework assignments.
