チカ先生とのレッスンはとても興味深く、楽しかったです。新しい語彙を理解するのにとても役立っていますし、過去問の文法構造を改善するのにも役立っています。

I enjoyed the lesson very much. The teacher was always willing to talk and bring up different topics to keep the conversation going. The teacher was always interested in what I had to say and was very friendly!

I had a few trial lessons with other tutors, but I couldn't quite find the right balance between the tutors being too serious and being themselves to have a natural conversation with me. Luckily, I found Chika-san in the end. She was the only one who didn't leave me out to speak continuously and gave me the burden of doing most of the conversation like a job interview while explaining some details to me. I'm not a very talkative person, even more so in a language I'm trying to practice, but Chika-san leads conversations very naturally, sharing some of her experiences and stories too, some things that can come only from the stage of her life and I can also learn from. I've been practising with her for 6 months now, and I couldn't have ask for a better tutor. Talking to her is more than just being tutored. I feel as if I'm rather talking to a very friendly and familiar neighbour who is willing to put some effort and spare some time to help me with my Japanese time to time.
