I’m 48 years old, a father of two (grown-up) daughters, and I live in Germany, where I was born and raised. I love to travel and to connect with people from all over the world. Besides my passion for languages and traveling, I also enjoy doing sports, reading, and following the principle of “lifelong learning”. I consider myself to be a very open-minded and tolerant person.
After working for many years in public administration, I now follow my language passion and teach German as foreign language.

As a native German speaker and certified teacher of German as foreign language by the German Goethe and telc Institutes, my ambition is to offer you professional and individual support on your way to learning German. No matter what your goals are, together we’ll develop personalized lessons for you by integrating your preferences and expectations. I strongly believe that learning a language should be as interesting and fun as possible, and should fit the individual needs of each student.

As two of the key elements of the CEFR are learner-orientation and an action-oriented approach of the teaching, we’ll focus on your individual goals. Whether these are (e.g.) improving your speaking abilities, style of writing or listening/ reading comprehension, we’ll integrate as much authenticity in the use of the German language as possible in your lesson. I personally like to work with a combination of textbook-based material and content from the media, like news reports or documentaries. Therefore, we’ll use a broad variety of different content to create your perfect lessons and develop your individual learning strategy.

Diğer - Deutsch als Fremdsprache1) Erfolgreiche Teilnahme am Zertifikatskurs des Goethe Instituts "DLL-Standard" mit einem Umfang von 12 Kursmonaten und 350 UE. 2) Im Jahr 2022 hatte ich bereits beim telc Institut einen Zertifikatskurs als Dozent für Deutsch als Fremdsprache erfolgreich abgeschlossen (108 UE). 3) Nach meiner Zertifizierung durch das Goethe Institut habe ich im März 2024 vom Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge die Zulassung als Lehrkraft für Deutsch als Fremdsprache in Integrationskursen erteilt bekommen.

I've been taking lessons with Andreas for almost a year now, and everything is going great. I feel I've made a lot of progress, and his teaching method has adapted to my improvement. The lessons are consistently challenging without ever feeling overwhelming, and the learning environment is always pleasant and supportive.
I highly recommend him as a teacher!
