I'm an English teacher from the USA. I tutored on italki full time from 2020 to 2021. Right now I am tutoring some classes until I go back to classroom teaching abroad. I have several years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language overseas, and a master's degree in education.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
As a teacher I am understanding and supportive. I'm a caring person and have a good sense of humor. You won't have to worry about making mistakes when you practice conversation with me. If you make a mistake, I can either correct you in the moment, or correct your mistakes at the end of the class. It's your choice. Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
The classes I'm offering are for conversation practice. They do not include grammar or lists of new vocabulary. We practice speaking. In our classes we can talk about the topics that interest you most. You can suggest a topic, or I'll give you a list of possible topics. We can talk about current events, books, hobbies, education, or culture, to name a few ideas. If you make mistake during the conversation, I'll correct you. I'll also let you know if you pronounce something wrong and tell you the correct pronunciation. (Please, do not book a class if you are looking for business English, job interview practice, or test prep. I do not offer those types of classes right now. Thanks.)Öğretim materyallerim

I highly recommend having a lesson with Carla.
I went through my job experience with Carla, and She gave me suggestions for how to say it better.
Her questions are made me simulate different scenarios in real life.
Her corrections help me improve not only pronunciation and made me think more detail of questions.
I am looking forward to seeing her.

Perfect! She corrects your mistakes during the conversation and It is really useful because you can check and learn from these mistakes and you can try to correct them in the same conversation. I really recommend her.
