I started teaching Swedish at Berlitz Europe in 2019, after their inhouse teaching course. I just loved it straight away, who knew teaching could be that fun! I have delivered 6500+ lessons since 2019. I also work part time (50%) as an assistant teacher at the school for adults: SFI (Swedish for immigrants) / (Svenska för invandrare) in Gävle/Sweden. I teach true beginners to intermediate/advanced. (A1-C2) My lessons are up to 99% in Swedish, we only use english when absolutely necessary. My teaching material: PDF language material, Text Documents, Images, Videos, Articles, News articles, Quizzes, Homework, Colloquial Swedish, Preparation for a job interview in Sweden, and much more. I will be happy to demonstrate what I can offer you. during a trial lesson. "There's a pattern I keep seeing in students who actually become fluent. The one´s that actually can Prata Svenska! It's not that they studied more grammar, or downloaded more apps, or found a "perfect method". The single biggest factor? - They spoke - a lot - even before they felt ready. Most learners avoid this. It's uncomfortable. You might say something wrong. It's easier to do another Duolingo/Babbel lesson, feel like you're making progress without the awkward part. But fluency only comes from actually using the language. The mistakes, the corrections, the moments when you find a way to express something you couldn't before — that's where it happens." Tack så mycket for the lesson! That’s a gemstone of a teacher, really patient and encouraging to use as much Swedish as even possible. I just started learning as a complete beginner but I’m assured I’ll make great progress in no time with Kenneth as a teacher!
