Greetings, I am Sonti, hailing from South Africa. My academic journey commenced at Rhodes University, where I attained my first degree with majors in Legal, Politics & International Studies, as well as Afrikaans & Netherlands. Presently, I am pursuing my Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Stellenbosch University. Growing up in a multilingual household has greatly enriched my linguistic capabilities, with Afrikaans, English, and isiXhosa standing out as my favorites. I firmly believe that language acquisition, though challenging, is an achievable endeavor for anyone willing to embark on the journey. Just had my first lesson with Sonti, she is an absolutely amazing teacher! You can tell she loves teaching and sharing the language because she brings so much enthusiasm and joy to her teaching, she was also so encouraging and patient with me when I struggled with some of the the pronunciation and I can't wait for our next lesson. I already feel so much more confident that I will be able to speak Afrikaans
