Hello! I’m Scott—an American English coach with 30+ years of expertise, blending language mastery with real-world business savvy (MBA/finance). Based in Japan, I help professionals and ambitious learners speak with clarity, confidence, and cultural fluency—whether for presentations, negotiations, or daily communication. When I’m not teaching, I’m hiking trails, dissecting baseball analytics, or bridging cultural gaps (yes, my finance background spices up lessons!). TEACHING EXPERIENCE: I have nearly 30years(1994-2024) experience teaching English as a Second Language at both Japanese Universities and as an Online English Language Tutor.
