Hello! My name is Thais and I am a Brazilian journalist living in the city of Salvador. I have a master degree in Literature and Culture and I am currently taking a second undergrad course at the university - a Bachelor in Languages with major in English. Last year, I took a position as a Teaching Assistant as part of my master's in a class about literature and gender. Now, I am very excited to be a community tutor here! My classes will be informal and I am planning to focus on conversation. I am always bring culture pop references such as movies, tv shows and books to make our classes more fun.

Thais is a super fantastic teacher. She is really animated and explains everything very well and with much patience. She is always really helpful and I am already learning so much. She is very organised and the lessons are well structured and they have a nice flow.

Thais is awesome! Even though I had practically no experience with Portuguese before the lesson, she gave an interactive experience and helped give me guidance on next steps. Would totally recommend, and I will be doing more lessons!

Ficou quase 40 minutos falando sobre ela, horrível. Falava muito rápido em inglês e só começou a aula mesmo quando faltava 15 minutos para completar uma hora de aula. Dinheiro jogado fora e tempo perdido. :(
