Ciao a tutti!
I'm Ruben and I am an Italian journalist with a degree in modern literature. Although I grew up in Salento, where people mostly speak in dialect, I don’t have a particular accent—thanks to books, I quickly learned to speak properly. I studied in Rome and in Málaga, Spain. These experiences, along with other travels, gave me the chance to make friends from all over the world and to discover a deep passion for languages and the unique ways each one reveals different shades of reality.
I’m very skilled in the kitchen and love learning and sharing new recipes. In my free time, I enjoy reading alone, walking in nature with my dog, and watching films—espÖğretmen Olarak Ben
Since I started teaching on Italki, I’ve had the privilege of accompanying students on their personal journeys toward learning Italian. Each student brings a unique story and motivation to the table—whether it’s for travel, work, family, or simply the love of the language—and this diversity continuously enriches both my teaching and my personal growth.
I’m a patient and empathetic teacher who believes that real learning happens when there’s a genuine connection. That’s why I focus on creating engaging, creative conversations tailored to each student’s interests and goals. We’ll begin with a friendly conversation so I can understand your Italian level. Then we’ll explore topics that spark your interest. We can read engaging stories and talk about them together. I’ll also share short texts you can read in depth and discuss during our sessions.
We’ll explore current topics through newspaper articles or short Italian documentaries. We can dive into poetry, music, or cinema too, if you like.
We’ll look at how Italians speak—and gesture!
Grammar won’t be a dry subject: we’ll tackle it as it comes up naturally. If needed, we’ll make it the focus of our lessons.Öğretim materyallerim

Rubén fue fantástico, evacuó todas mis dudas y preguntas con ejemplos. Es muy amable y entiende súper bien el español, lo cuál facilita a la hora de explicar. Le pedí que me mandara material de apoyo para repasar y me lo envío inmediato, después de la clase.
