Ciao a tutti!
I'm Ruben and i am an italian journalist and student graduating in modern literature. Although I grew up in Salento, where people mostly speak dialect, I don't have a particular accent, because I immediately learned to speak by reading books. I studied in Rome and in Málaga, Spain. During these experiences and other travels, i had the opportunity to make friends worldwide and share common interests, as well as having developed a passion for languages and the different shades of reality that each language can decipher. I am very skilled in the kitchen and I love to learn and teach new recipes. My favorite pastimes are reading alone, walking in nature with my dog and party!Öğretmen Olarak Ben
Since teaching through Italki I have had the opportunity to be part of my students' goals with responsibility. Each student has his or her own story and reasons for learning Italian, which I often find very interesting and which enrich my teaching and human experience.
One of the biggest goals I have recently achieved was to help a Chinese girl do her thesis in Italian and write a cover letter for a renowned Italian university, which she happily had access to.
I consider myself a patient teacher who likes to connect with his students. Therefore, my goal as a teacher is to engage in interesting and creative conversations, understanding the student's interests.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
We can start with a general conversation that will allow me to understand your level of Italian. After that, we can look for some interesting topics to talk about in the future. We can read some stories together and discuss them. I could give you some short texts to read in depth and to talk about together in our meetings.
We can deepen current topics through newspaper articles or short documentaries in Italian. We can also address topics related to poetry and music, as well as cinema.
We can analyze the Italian language and the way people gesticulate.
We will approach the grammar as we find the cases during the meetings. If necessary, they will be the main topics of the lessons.Öğretim materyallerim

Rubén fue fantástico, evacuó todas mis dudas y preguntas con ejemplos. Es muy amable y entiende súper bien el español, lo cuál facilita a la hora de explicar. Le pedí que me mandara material de apoyo para repasar y me lo envío inmediato, después de la clase. Les recomiendo que tomen una lección con él, van a aprender mucho de historia e italiano y se van a reír mucho. Grazie mille Ruben☺️

Greatly enjoyed the class. It was easy to start talking thanks to Ruben’s motivating and approachable teaching style. Ruben has a passionate and profound knowledge of language history and cultural context, which makes for a fascinating conversation. I feel very fortunate to have met such an exceptional teacher.
