I had a few lessons so far with Mwalimu Jane and it has been fun and I already learned a lot. After four years of on and off lessons, Duo Lingo and 'community teachers', this is a bless. She has her own material, based on all the years of teaching experience and the schooling she had. She comes well prepared and has a nice way of teaching. We talk a lot and she writes in a Google Document and I add the Swahili translation. I am analytic person who wants to know the how of things, the logic behind the language, Jane knows a lot and is able to answer all my questions. So, don't hestitate and also book a lesson with her!

Mwalimu Jane is an excellent teacher! She is student-oriented in her lessons and teaches in an intresting manner. She helped me refresh my Swahili and I feel I learn a lot during each lesson. I am certain I will advance very quickly in my Swahili skills thanks to her. I highly recommend Mwalimu Jane :)

As a teacher, I recognize when someone excels in their role, and Mwalimu Jane truly does. Her lessons are marked not only by a high level of language instruction but also by engaging discussions about Swahili history and culture, all while fostering plenty of laughter. With her extensive knowledge, passion for teaching, and great sense of humor, she truly stands out. Keep up the great work!

Mwalimu Jane is a fun a relatable person who loves teaching and has a lot of experience. I like her method and she genuinely wants you to progress and learn at whatever pace you would like. She makes sure you understand everything before moving forward with more content, learning, and/or material. I enjoy our lessons because she can either go slowly or at a fast pace depending on how much you know. I am excited for our future lessons. Thank you so much mwalimu Jane, you have already helped me so much and helped me find more confidence to speak swahili as well.
