Born in Chile, raised in Canada, and now based in Phuket, Thailand. I’ve explored 29+ countries—helping me understand the nuances of learning English in diverse contexts. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me lifting weights, playing soccer or strumming my guitar. My travels and hobbies fuel my lessons with real-world examples, making language learning dynamic and relatable. Let’s turn your goals into conversations! (P.S. I ride a motorcycle—metaphor for speeding up your fluency!) I speak English and Spanish. My accent is North American/Canadian. I am very patient with students and a good listener. I speak slowly and clearly so that my students can understand me if they're beginners. I enjoy teaching and find it very rewarding when I see students learning new things and growing as English speakers. I do not offer lessons to children. Only to adults 18+ My teaching style is relaxed yet thorough, which means my classes are enjoyable, but also very educational. I specialize in teaching intermediate and advanced students. Some of the tools I use in my classes are videos, images and reading material.

I have taken lessons with Max more than 2 years. I love lesson with him it. Max is very patient , understanding and well explaining teacher. We are talking about lots of different topics during the lessons. Lessons with him flows very naturally.
