Yuna | ゆうな

I’ve been learning with Yuna for some time now, and it’s been such a great experience so far 😊 She’s incredibly attentive and always writes down notes on everything we talk about, which helps me keep track of new vocabulary and grammar. No matter what theme I bring up, Yuna is always ready to support it, offering vocabulary and explanations that match my level of understanding. She really makes every lesson feel personalized and gives me the confidence to keep improving my Japanese. I always look forward to our next lesson!

What can I say, I absolutely love my lessons with Yuna. Having to get up a bit early on Saturday doesn't bother me at all because I'm enjoying our lessons so much! As someone who is quite the introvert and also a perfectionist I truly think she is the perfect teacher for me. Our lessons are relaxed, interesting and there is a lot of room to discuss culture and cultural differences. I'm able to practice what I learn and get feedback immediately. Yuna always gives this with a lot of thought and care, so that even someone who hates making mistakes as much as I do feels comfortable making them. I have truly found my perfect Japanese teacher, and if you are looking for one yourself I highly recommend you to give Yuna a try!

Throughout my 6 or so lessons, ゆうな continues to be a friendly teacher who's up for any kind of lesson/activity. Her English is amazing which makes a big difference in explaining specific concepts. For learners who have specific goals with Japanese, she will be a great help.

Yuna-san was very patient and easy to talk to. I’ve never had any speaking lessons prior to this so I was very nervous but Yuna-san Carried the conversation and recognised when I was struggling with understanding. I hope to have many more lessons!

Yuna was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to! I was a bunch of nerves going into the lesson, as this was my first ever italki class (plus I'm naturally super anxious haha), and was immediately put at ease. :) Thank you Yuna :)

Yuna is the best Japanese teacher I've ever met (personally I think she's the best teacher on earth:)! She is fun, kind, supportive, energetic, willing to listen and to help all the time. Besides that she's so professional and creative during teaching, and I always learned a lot from each of our class. From our Japanese conversations, I love how she could quickly capture what I was trying to express, then structure in Japanese so I can learn the words and grammar. Her notes are clear and super helpful, I can always review what we had talked about in class. I also love how our topics can vary so much, the expressions and words I learned from class can really enable myself to [think] in Japanese in real life scenarios, which is 1000x better than textbook-like rigid expressions:). Thank you Yuna for being a wonderful teacher!
