I was very nervous before the class, but as soon as it started Yuka-sensei quickly made me feel at ease. She is very friendly and gentle, I had a really great time practicing Japanese. The whole time she made sure the conversation would flow nicely and helped me to find the words to express what I needed to communicate. :) Thank you, Yuka-sensei! Just had my 1st lesson with Yuka sensei. I feel honored as well being her 1st student on Italki. We had a great time understanding each other through self introduction and also had a discussion on type and kind of lessons I feel will be more beneficial to me right now. The outcome of the lesson was fruitful and effective. I feel that it is necessary to make things clear at the start so that both parties understood how to proceed from there as it might be a long term investment of time and effort. Yuka sensei is very open minded, polite and approachable in terms of the deciding the way to carry out the lesson plan. I can see potential in Yuka sensei being a very reliable and great teacher. Thanks for the lesson today Yuka sensei. Definitely looking forward to our next lesson.

We continued covering 1st vocabulary list of chapter 2 of intermediate textbook with Yuka sensei explaining the meaning and I try apply them by forming example sentences to check my understanding. I always had fun even though it's technical because I feel that this manner of approach suits me best. I have freedom of the kind of sentences to form and can also apply the things I learnt elsewhere and want try use together in same sentence. Even if I have my struggles every time, Yuka sensei will be able to support or assist me to form the sentence properly by just letting her know roughly what I would like to express. This form of interaction promotes learning and more involvement in lesson. I really appreciate her patience and understanding, accommodating to my needs and mend the lesson as accordingly. Thanks Yuka sensei for another impressive lesson. I always enjoy and able to learn new things.

Enjoyable lesson with good material and very patient teacher.

Time passed by fast and it's been close to 6 months taking lessons with Yuka sensei. I am grateful to have her in my Japanese learning journey even though it had to come to an end. She is very capable and proficient in teaching Japanese. Professional and experienced, patient and understanding, supportive and organized, helpful and motivating, lessons are technical yet fun. Amazing job as a teacher on italki platform. I felt encouraged by her feedback given on my progress so far in japanese learning yesterday. I wish her all the best in her full time work and personal life. I will also work hard pursuing things on my end and continue studying Japanese. Thanks for everything Yuka sensei. You have been such a great inspiration to my Japanese learning journey.

Lessons with Yuka sensei is technical yet fun. It's free style and I can simply form any kind of sentences using words from 1st part of vocabulary list from chapter 2 intermediate textbook. It's also a stress-free and comfortable environment as Yuka sensei is so reliable and reassuring to be there to support and assist where necessary. She is also very experienced in teaching Japanese and professional. Patient and understanding, encouraging and motivating. Thanks for another wonderful time and great lesson Yuka sensei.
