I am Grace, a dedicated English instructor with over a decade of experience specializing in IELTS preparation, Business English, and youth language acquisition. I hold dual degrees in Business Management and Sociology, in addition to multiple teaching certifications. I provide both academic rigor and practical methodology to my instruction. My international background — including two years living in Arequipa, Peru, and extended stays in Ghana — has strengthened my ability to adapt English instruction to diverse cultural and professional contexts. Due to my teaching commitments at public school, on Italki I offer Saturdays clases and have weekday availability in June, July, and December.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
Classroom Rules and Policies:
Booking Policy - Please allow for more than 24 hours before booking a class.
(Do not book a class that has less than 24 hours before the start of class.)
Cancellation Policy - Usually it is possible to reschedule your class with me,
however cancellations within 24 before the class will be charged for the full amount.

It is better to use a laptop or computer for class.
Phones and Ipads are small, hard to read, and difficult to share lesson materials with.

My classes can move quickly. Each class beings with a short review of the previous class.
I use material to teach grammar points, vocabulary, speaking, listening and reading.
I provide all the tools for my students to become independent and confident.

Teaching License for the State of Georgia - Ga PSC - 2023This is my teaching license from the State of Georgia in the United States. It allows me to teach Elementary in public schools in the United States. To get it I had to pass 2 rigorous exams called the GACE. I also had to successfully complete and undergraduate degree. My school has required teachers to get a Masters degree as well, I am currently doing a Masters in Elementary Education from Georgia Southern University, expected to graduate Spring 2026. I am currently a 4th grade teacher.

Really fun and interesting class. Students can learn a lot of vocabularies in the class. Grace will explain the words we don't know very clearly. The material she provided for the class is really helpful. She takes the class seriously.

While Grace was away for health reasons, we tried out three or four other teachers — but honestly, none of them were as good as her. We didn’t really realize it before, but after trying others, we could really see the difference. She knows how to get Aiden genuinely interested, but also keeps the class focused and on track — not just letting him drift off into his own world.
What we also really appreciate is how thoughtful and organized she is. She always shares a video before class so Aiden can get familiar with the content in advance, and she gives homework afterwards to help reinforce what he’s learned. That kind of structure has really made a difference for him.
