Riska

It was really enjoyable reading a popular Indonesian book with Riska today. It was like being at a book club with a true friend. I am very grateful that with Riska's help I have been able to reach a level of Indonesian where I can both read at novel level and discuss.

I had a great first lesson with Riska! She is very kind, has a fun and laidback approach and was very patient with me and my foreign accent. I even got to meet her cat at the end of the lesson! Thanks Riska, see you again soon :)

Riska is an excellent Sundanese teacher. I highly recommend her for instruction in Indonesian or Sundanese. She is patient, kind, and flexible, and encouraging; even though I’m a total beginner in Sundanese, I feel motivated and confident thanks to her. I learn so much from our lessons, and I love that she goes way above and beyond to create interesting materials for us to review together. Hatur nuhun! 💕

Great lesson with Riska! Riska gave some background about culture, which was quite interesting. We also started learning about "transportation". Riska did a good job of defining the new vocabulary and helping me with pronunciation!

Great lesson with Riska! We continued and completed unit 7 in the textbook. Riska helped me understand the new vocabulary and helped me with the exercises "write a card for...". Riska is very down-to-earth and I enjoy how she adds cultural insights to her lessons!
