I am bilingual, French/ Portuguese. I have completed my degree at the University of Coimbra, one of the best in Portugal. I'm a communicative person, who likes to meet new people. I love to travel, and whenever I do I try my best to get to know the local community and the local area, because that's the only way to get to know the reality of each country. I've already volunteered in Africa, with my 12-year-old daughter, and the last trip we did together was to India, where I took a yoga course. I love reading and writing, music, beach and simple life. Empathy and respect for others are essential to me: "Don't do to others what you wouldn't want them to do to you".

I've been learning Portuguese with Virginie for several months now, and I must say she is truly an excellent teacher. She has experience in teaching, explains things in a way that I can understand, and is very patient with me and my mistakes 😀. Our lessons are fun and often filled with laughter. I've been learning Portuguese with Virginie for almost five months now and it's been great! Virginie is a professional teacher, so she is well equipped to help students at all levels. I started at level zero and wanted to learn Portuguese through conversations (rather than rigid lessons and worksheets). Virginie has been great at this, and she is always eager to adapt to my preferences. I highly recommend her to all learners, regardless of level. I know it can be a bit intimidating to start a new language online, but Virginie is very approachable, patient, and supportive and makes the process very fun!

I have been taking Portuguese lessons with Virginie for a few months now, focusing on improving my conversational skills. Amazing teacher if you are looking to improve your European portuguese language skills!the lessons are always structures, we have a healthy amount of speaking/grammar mix though she can also adapt it for any needs!
