Hi! I’m Tee, a certified English tutor from South Africa.
I have over 5 years of teaching experience, including 3 years teaching English communication in Japan. I specialize in General English, IELTS preparation, and Business English.
I’m also interested in software development, gardening, and learning about different cultures. My background in tech helps me bring a creative and practical approach to my lessons.

I would describe my lessons and teaching style as very relaxed and professional. I enjoy asking my students questions and encourage them to ask as many questions as they’d like. Our lessons will focus on improving your grammar, expanding your vocabulary, and building your confidence in speaking through meaningful conversations.
We’ll explore various topics, such as current affairs, travel, and everyday situations, to help you get a better grasp of the English language in practical contexts. Tee is extremely patient and friendly. She helps correct grammatical errors in my speech and also teaches me advanced alternative vocabulary. I highly recommend this teacher. She was well-prepared, patient, focused, and very organised. She provided exactly what I asked for and made the lesson enjoyable and effective. She's the best teacher I've had so far; she takes notes during the lesson, corrects my mistakes, and helps me improve by asking me to repeat and practice. Her teaching style is supportive and encouraging, and I’ve learned a lot with her. I am a happy student :)
