Hello! My name is Guy and I'm from the UK! I love learning new languages, and am passionate about helping others to improve their English language skills. I also hold a TEFL qualification, so have an education in teaching English as a foreign language. In my personal life, I work in marketing, and also love making YouTube videos - about discovering new places and learning new languages. I love sports, as well as keeping fit and active, and love to travel, when possible! I have visited countries in both North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

I am a keen believer that having lots of conversations, supported by new vocabulary, is the best way to develop your linguistic skills. I am very flexible, and, having experienced learning a language myself, I know how it feels to be learning, especially on iTalki! So, my point is, that I am well experienced, as both a teacher and a learner, and will help you to feel comfortable and ensure you are progressing in every lesson.

My lessons are focused on you, and in particular, what you want to get out of each lesson! We can structure classes around grammar, learning vocabulary, and if you just want to have a conversation - well, we can do that too! And if you have specific topics you want to cover - perhaps you need to learn English focused on business, or you want to talk about sports more, then I can do that too! I am full of energy, and passion for my language, and I hope to share this with you.

I had my first lesson with Guy and I enjoyed it. As we both work in Marketing, we held a conversation on this topic and I could practice my English related to this topic and learn new vocabulary, so it was very helpful. He shared some blogs about Marketing with me so I can keep practising and learning. At the end of the lesson, we took a look at some mistakes and suggestions to make my English better. Thank you!
