Languages have the power to connect people across borders and cultures—a truth I’ve witnessed firsthand throughout my decades of teaching. With over eleven years of experience in online instruction, I’ve honed my ability to make learning German engaging, effective, and deeply personal. My passion for languages goes beyond grammar and vocabulary; it’s about fostering meaningful connections through lively discussions on art, music, or everyday life. These conversations not only build fluency but also immerse you in the richness of German culture. My teaching style is warm, patient, and tailored to your goals, whether you are on an intermediate level or refining advanced skills. I try to adapt to the wishes of my students: Some want to discuss or chat, with others I work on material that I have prepared. I use modern, activating methods that practice various skills, speaking, reading and listening. I have material for different language levels and adapt to the abilities of each individual student. Book a trial lesson, it's going to be fun! Please note: I don't teach absolute beginners! I like to use paintings, photos or drawings as a basis for discussion in many (not all) of my lessons and I also provide short stories or exercise material that we work on together. The use of a digital pencil on a whiteboard that I share with the student, perfectly mimics the teaching situation of a traditional classroom. Christine is an amazing tutor, who put plenty of work to prepare materials - they are interesting and engaging. Time flies very quickly while talking with Christine. I found the exercises also interesting and well prepared - not like your typical grammar workbook. I highly recommend working with this teacher!

Christine is an exceptional teacher, her lessons are very detailed and creative, very effective, and she always draws on the German culture, literature, art and music, something that many language learners struggle to connect with, as there are so many distracting resources nowadays, but the depth and breadth of the German culture is there, but often remains hidden. Die erste Unterrichtsstunde hat einen sehr positiven Eindruck bei mir hinterlassen. Сhristine wirkte von Anfang an sehr professionell, freundlich und gut vorbereitet. Besonders positiv finde ich die angenehme Lernatmosphäre. Ich freue mich auf die weitere Zusammenarbeit und kann den Unterricht bereits nach der ersten Stunde weiterempfehlen.
