My name is Arnav Thakur. Being born and brought up in India, I am well-versed in Hindi. Also, having Hindi as a subject for 10 years in my academic life made me understand all the ins and outs of the language, and somewhat motivated me to help others see how beautiful this language is. Then, to expand my literary knowledge, I did my Bachelor's and then my Master's degree in the English language. Currently, I'm pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the same. In my spare time, I like singing, cooking, and, my favorite, singing while I'm cooking. I consider myself an introvert who needs just a push to cross the line to be on the other side, with the expressive ones. Here to teach and make friends. Been doing this for 5+ years now, and I can say that I'm well familiar with the way of interacting with someone who intends to learn something from you. I'm also a learner, so I know how to step into my students' shoes and not just show them the way but also be there, holding their hands, while they walk with their baby steps. My lessons generally include a basic layout of the language, which incorporates the fundamentals, the starters, and the advanced sections of the language. Proper attention is being paid to the grammar and the trivial technicalities, which make my students not just understand but also express themselves confidently in the language. Arnav is an amazing teacher. Today he helped me with adjectives in the oblique case which I find very confusing. He gave me a nice way to remember how to use them, and it really cleared up my way of using them. Thanks Arnav, you are the best!

Another great lesson; I feel like I learn a lot every time. If I could I'd have lessons with Arnav bhaai every day. He is the most patient and gentle teacher.

This week we read a B2-level text with Arnav for the first time. I didn't find it too difficult and could understand most of it. This wouldn't have been the case 6 months ago when I was still a weak B1. I cannot recommend this patient, kind, and smart teacher enough. It's thanks to him I can finally see progress!
