My name is Agnes Ackermann and I come from Hungary. I am a qualified English and French teacher, but I also graduated as an Economist in Business Administration and Management. My mothertongue is Hungarian, which I love teaching to non-native speakers. I like travelling and picking up some words from the local language. I have been teaching English, French and Hungarian as a foreign language for more than 20 years now. In my lessons, beside general conversation and language skills, the students also have the opportunity to prepare for the Hungarian Citizenship Interview, the Hungarian Cultural Exam or practise the language of economics and tourism with me. Ági is very sweet and encouraging, making it a comfortable place to make mistakes while trying to speak. I definitely feel more confident attempting to say words and phrases when I can because she helps me by speaking a lot in Hungarian, and only switching when I fully do not understand. Highly recommend!
