Joan

Taking classes with Joan has been a pleasant surprise. Over the two years I've been at Italki, I’ve had lessons with various teachers, but this is the first time I've experienced a class tailored to my specific needs rather than created spontaneously. Her Portuguese is impeccable, which is incredibly helpful when I have doubts about how to express myself in English :)) I highly recommend her classes—they are definitely worth it!

It was a productive and enjoyable trial. The teacher encouraged conversation and corrected me kindly. I felt supported the whole time and it was a friendly atmosphere. I’m looking forward to continuing the lessons.

Another great lesson. The teacher recommends many interesting materials, motivates students to work independently and to constantly improve their skills. Additionally, she demonstrates great patience. The materials are very engaging and allow for in-depth exploration of the topic. I highly recommend her to everyone. Joan knows many foreign languages, which makes it easier to compare similar structures/expressions in other languages. One of the best teachers on italki!
