Hi! Thank you for visiting my profile. I'm a qualified English teacher (Cambridge CELTA) experienced in online teaching at all levels. I speak fluent French and Portuguese, as well as some Polish and Spanish. I provide enjoyable, learner-centred lessons tailored specifically to you; my attention to detail and linguistic expertise enable me to focus on specific areas for improvement and to help you reach your goals. I know it takes courage to speak another language, and so my priority is to create an empathetic environment where you feel safe to speak without judgment or too much pressure. I am flexible and happy to adapt to your needs, but every lesson will be planned for you, so there is no need to worry we'll have nothing to talk about. I will gently correct and help you express yourself more naturally, while encouraging you to play an active role in identifying and fixing your own mistakes. I believe it is important to use as much English as possible, even for beginners, but if I speak your language, I will use it to help you as needed. Every lesson will be planned for you depending on your goals, your interests and what you need to improve, with materials specially selected to help you push yourself and learn something every time. Please note: I do not teach children.

A aula com a Joan é sempre ótima e hoje não foi diferente. Eu finalmente estou começando a entender a diferença entre Simple Past e Present Perfect. Nesses momentos eu percebo como faz diferença quando o professor nativo fala português, porque existem diferenças linguísticas que somente quando o professor conhece as particularidades do idioma do aluno ele encontra formas de explicar que o aluno entenda. Obrigada pela aula de hoje 😊😊

Wspaniała lekcja! Joan jest dobrą, cierpliwą i dokładną nauczycielką. Kładzie duży nacisk na wymowę. To prawdziwa profesjonalistka, zawsze dobrze przygotowana. Z niezwykłą łatwością wyjaśnia nawet bardzo trudne zagadnienia z poziomu C1-C2. A ten brytyjski akcent... Gorąco polecam na wszystkich poziomach zaawansowania! Zna też język polski!
