Ahoj! Hi there! 👋 I’m Štěpán (Steve, 徐則帆), a Czech teacher based in Taiwan with a Master’s degree from CULTS Prague. I also studied Mandarin at NCKU in Tainan, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I’m a patient and supportive teacher who adapts lessons to your goals and level. We’ll focus on real communication while building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. My lessons are practical, friendly, and tailored to you. I use materials like texts, audio, and notes to keep learning engaging. Let’s learn Czech together - book a lesson and tell me your goals! 😊 Pojďme na to! I am a very patient teacher. I know what it takes to learn a new language. I will always do my best to find a way of teaching that suits you and to explain the Czech language rules clearly. We will practice conversation so you can feel more confident but also have to dive into Czech grammar, which is quite complex, but a necessary part of the language. I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, that's how you improve. Remember that language is a marathon, not a sprint. :) Motivation is something that helps you to get started, but consistency is the key. In the beginning, I would like to know your language level, your goal, and your expectations. All my lessons will be prepared based on your needs. I would say that the best way how to improve language is through conversation, but of course, we will also focus on grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation....

Stepan is just great. He's super friendly, and the class just flows so casual making everything easy to understand. Lots of useful vocabulary adapted to the specific needs of student. Super recommended!

Štěpán is a fantastic and very creative teacher with enormous patience and enthusiasm. He understands all the difficulties of the Czech grammar and is able to explain them in a very approachable und understandable way. Dekuji ti moc, Štěpáne!

Štěpán is a great teacher! I already had an system of learning languages, and he had no problem adapting to it. He's really encouraging and always challenges me to try out more complicated things and to speak in czech. I always feel really comfortable during the lessons, even when I keep making the same mistakes (damn declension). He also makes notes during the lessons that help me a lot when I revise by myself, and sent me materials to help me with grammar. I really recommend him as a teacher!

Štěpán лучший преподаватель чешского языка, с которым я когда-либо занималась! У него действительно профессиональный подход: он спокойный, терпеливый и объясняет всё понятно и логично, так что материал действительно усваивается. Особенно ценно для меня то, что у него нет подхода «и так сойдёт», с которым я сталкивалась у других преподавателей. Я не перфекционист, но при подготовке к языковому экзамену на гражданство крайне важно быть уверенной в своих знаниях. Štěpán работает именно с теми темами и заданиями, которые реально встречаются на экзамене, как в письменной, так и в разговорной части. Он очень дисциплинированный, ни разу не опоздал на занятие, при этом он интересный человек, с которым действительно приятно общаться на разные темы, и это делает занятия реально увлекательными. Чуть больше чем за месяц занятий (5 раз в неделю по 45 минут) он помог мне перейти от состояния «боюсь открыть рот» к уверенной разговорной речи. Огромное спасибо, Štěpán!
