My lessons are designed for adult learners seeking authentic language acquisition: mastering natural intonation, understanding nuanced gestures, and incorporating idiomatic expressions that enrich daily communication. Whether you are beginning with basic greetings or refining advanced fluency, my goal is to equip you with the skills to navigate the Turkish language with confidence.
Based on the experience gained from working as an academic at one of the prestigious universities, I will plan each lesson according to the students’ needs and progress. Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
In the grammar lesson, I will teach basic Turkish grammar from A0 level to B1 level within the framework of a specific curriculum.
In the conversation lesson, you will learn to speak natural Turkish. Intonation is very important in Turkish; in fact, it can even change the meaning of a word. Additionally, we often use facial expressions and gestures while speaking. Last but not least, we Turks enjoy having conversations, from casual chats to deep discussions. We even have a famous proverb about this: “Gönül sohbet ister, kahve bahane.” :)

Dr. Elif is such a joy to work with - so positive and very encouraging. Lot's of opportunities to speak. She is always prepared and has a lot of teaching resources she likes to use (handouts, flyers, YouTube videos.) Her classes are very fun and interactive!

Regarding question two. I find this question excessive. If I had something to complain about in this regard, I would proactively raise it.

Elif ist immer sehr strukturiert und hervorragend vorbereitet. Wir behandeln alltagsnahe Themen, die ich direkt anwenden kann. Außerdem ist Elif ein unglaublich ruhiger und geduldiger Mensch, wodurch das Lernen nicht nur effektiv, sondern auch richtig angenehm und motivierend ist.

Very nice lesson! Dr.Elif always adapts to what is important for me to learn. The speaking practice is motivating because you get to talk and try out the vocabulary with no pressure and lots of fun!
