Hello! My name is Karen and I’m 32 years old. I’m originally from Mexico, but I’ve been living in Serbia for five years now. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, playing cozy video games and spending time in nature.

I’m a native Spanish speaker and medical doctor who has lived and worked in Serbian hospitals. Having learned Serbian as a second language, I know the challenges it entails and can guide you step by step from A1 to B2. With my medical background, I can also support learners interested in professional or medical contexts, in Serbian, Spanish, or English. Because I can compare Serbian and Spanish from a learner’s perspective, I highlight details even natives may not notice.
